We are sector agnostic and would consider all industry and business types. We prefer to focus on industries in which our principals and advisory board members have significant prior experience. Historically, our principals have invested in telecommunications, business services, healthcare, manufacturing, industrial, clean tech and hi-tech companies.

Lou Sokolovskiy

Partner

Lou is a serial entrepreneur with extensive private equity transaction experience. He is the founder of multiple entrepreneurial ventures in the technology arena, and has unique expertise in operations management, strategic partnerships and new business development. He is a former consultant who has advised many companies in the healthcare management, finance, and technology industries on improving operations and corporate strategy. Lou is the founder of professional networking organization Opus Connect, and is an active member in numerous nonprofit organizations [including Aish HaTorah LA, AIPAC and JNF]. He is a member of the Milken Institute Young Leaders Circle and is Wexner Heritage Fellow.

Lou holds a MBA from UCLA, Anderson School of Management and a B.S. degree cum laude in Business Administration from University of Southern California. 

Tal Kimmel

Partner

Tal is an experienced private equity investor and a former investment banker. He is the founder and Managing Partner of Israel Opportunity Fund, a New York City based special situations investment vehicle focusing on buyout and venture transactions globally. He is the former co-head of SVCH, Inc, a Miami-based global merchant banking group where he oversaw portfolio investments in Telecommunications, Healthcare and 3rd party venture capital funds. Tal started his career as an investment banker at Lehman Brothers in New York, where he advised companies in the media and telecommunications sectors on private equity, MBA and public equity transactions.

Tal received his M.B.A. with distinction from New York University's Stern School of Business and his B.A. degree magna cum laude in Economics from Queens College.
